Please help me with the names of the instruments that make each group, i.e. Woodwinds 8/8/4/4…. Which instrument is the first eight, the second eight and so on. I will appreciate it very much!

Ok my dear. I figured it out by looking at the pages of orchestration. So woodwinds would go like this, I assume: flute/oboe/clarinet/bassoon. Then brass would be horn/trumpet/trombone. I hope I am tracking correctly.
Exactly -and if there were tubas, they would go after trombones. You should hear composers talk – “yeah, it’s 3 3 3 2 2, 4 4 4 3, 14 12 10 8 6.” Geeks!
